Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 May 2026

By installing or using Receipts, you agree to these terms.

Not tax, financial, or legal advice

Receipts is a record-keeping tool. ATO category suggestions are derived from on-device rules and machine learning over your receipt text. We are not a registered tax agent. We are not affiliated with the Australian Taxation Office. You (or your registered tax agent) are solely responsible for the accuracy of any return, BAS lodgement, or other tax filing made using data exported from Receipts.

License

Receipts is licensed, not sold. You receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on devices you own or control.

In-app purchases

Receipts Pro is offered as either an auto-renewing monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. All in-app purchases are sold through Apple's StoreKit under Apple's standard terms (the Apple Standard EULA: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Refunds are handled by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Auto-renewing subscriptions

The monthly Receipts Pro subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Renewal charges happen within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge.

User conduct

You agree not to reverse-engineer, modify, or attempt to circumvent the app's in-app purchase system. You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your right to use the app if you breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Lumenly agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any dispute.
